hp 530 takes 10 mins to shutdown or restart Closed

Hello,
just recently, i formatted my hp 530 because of virus infection. it was successfully formatted with window xp.

but now whenever i want to restart or shutdown my machine, it takes 10-15mins to complete this task. pls if there is any one that have any idea of what is causing this problem, kindly help me with solution.

Hi there,

You have uploaded too much applications on the system thus making it to take more time to load the programs for starting and too much time to end them and shutdown.Open run and type msconfig.msc and press enter.Management console will open,go to startup tab and select required softwares to be used during startup.
