C drive just stopped working

Hello,
my C drive has been working fine until 2 days ago, when it just stopped reading any disk at all, the computer picks it up on the bios but when i go into the computer menu C drive is not there. help anyone!!!!!

Hi there,

Please give more information ,is it a cd drive?normally c is assigned to windows system.
