Can't open the cheat box on sims 2 ffs

Hello,
I had a problem with the sims 2 family fun stuff on my computer.
I try opening the cheat box, mostly said i must press Ctrl Shift C
I tried pressing the same keys together, I tried pressing Ctrl Shift together then tap C.
But still it won't do anything,
PLEASE HELLP!
