if you want to put windows 7 then it is quite simple....puttting win xp will require more expertise...
1. insert windows 7 bootable cd...select custom install after setup files are loaded
2. delete partitions and then recreate using the options.
3. install windows 7 in a compatible partition.
4. once windows 7 is installed ....hard drive can be formatted easily for installing any oder OS.
