Pci bus 3 device 10 function1

Hello,
my cd-rom does not play i'am getting a yellow simbol? that my pci bus is not working and i tryed to upgrade but it's telling me unkown souce can't find manufactor what can i do i have windows vista please help open to suggestions.

Hi there,

Follow these steps and get it solved:

-press start+r at same time and open run,
-type regedit,browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE,System,CurrentControlSet,Control,Class,
-next step click and find upper filters,right click on upperfilterd and delete.

Restart the computer/laptop.
