Other Devices - Network Controller

Hello,
I have a Compaq nc8230 Laptop. The wireless network has worked without a problem for several years now. Suddenly it will not connect to the internet or other computers on the home network.

Device manager shows a problem with the Network Controller. In properties it says Driver unknown, Driver date not available, Version nt available. Rollback says No driver files have been backed up.

Belarc advisor shows other devices:
TI OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 Host Controller
HP Integrated module w/bluetooth wireless tech
SDA Standard compliant SD host controller
TI PCI Gemcore based smartcard controller

I used Unknown Devices at halfdone computer to try identifying the problem, however it says Unable to detect, Hardware ID: VEN_8086&DEV_4223&SUBSYS_1351103C&REV_05
Windows Description - PCI Simple Communications Controller
Hardware ID - VEN_104C&DEV_8035&SUBSYS_9034143C&REV_00
Enumerator - PCI

So what do I look for to retrieve a new driver for the Network Controller?
