E71 : sim is not showing in mobile

Hello,
eventhough there is a sim in the mobile china E71, it shows no sim. It indicates "insert sim". Why does this occur? How to solve this?

Dear Sir,

Please try inserting an alternative sim to see whether the problem is not coming from the sim that you are using. Also contact your network provider to get the confirmation if whether the phone should be unlocked.
