Laptop screen broken Closed

Hello,
my laptop screen is hanging on by the wires, i was wondering if i could cut the wires so the keyboard was just left and hook it up to a tv through a hdmi cable. will this still send a picture to my tv screen?

Hi there,

Be sure isolate the wires after cutting them and if your laptop had wifi then it will no longer get signal as the antenna is on the screen itself.
