Coping files from vista to XP

Hello,

Recently I have copied some files and folders onto my external harddrive from a windows vista laptop. but when I connected the harddrive to my XP desktop computer,the filles all dissapeared.

Can someone please tell me how this can happen, and how I can possebly fix this problem?

Hi there,

After having moved files to hard drive you need to make safe remove then disconnect from usb port,try this and feel free to revert back for more help.

hello,

I had already donne the save remove before before I disconneted the Hard drive, so I don't think thats where the problem is. And I don't have the possibilety to retry coping the filles.
