Hello,

Try this 1

Seems like you have selected the "Recovery Console" option.

Follow the below instructions to repair your Windows XP.

1) After booting from the bootable CD\USB a prompt will appear

"Press any key to boot from CD".

Just press any key to boot from your Windows XP CD.

2) When "Welcome to Setup" appears, press "Enter" which says "To set up

Windows XP now, press Enter".

3) When the "Windows XP Licensing Agreement" appears, press "F8".

4) When it prompts you whether you want to "Repair the OS" or to continue

installing a fresh copy of Windows XP", as shown in the below image "Repair"

Repair

Press "R" key to select the repair option.

Then follow the onscreen instructions when the installation interface appears.

Good Luck

If it fails to detect the installed OS then repair option as show in the below image won't appear.
