Hello,
I hooked up video from computer to tv via dvi cable and it works fine. Sound hook up isn't working though. I have a Panasonic PT-50LC14 LCD big screen about a 2006 model. I've already tried a 3.5 mm to RCA cord plugging into every input RCA on the TV but no sound. When computer speakers are plugged into the computer they work fine so I know the sound port is viable. Does the signal from the computer need to be generated in digital rather than analog? I checked my sound card properties and it registers as an analog signal. I'm determined to make the connection could anyone suggest something?
Thank you!!!!!!!!

This is a TV problem rather than a PC problem. The analog sound is what the TV should expect on a RCA plug. I would read the TV manual and try all the option in the TV set-up menus. The trick is to find which sound inputs are paired with the DVI video input and set the TV to use those inputs. Some TVs just don't cooperate.

Good Luck
