How to improve the speed of aircel in PC???

Hello,

I am able to connect to net using aircelgprs.... but the effective downloading speed is too less ....around 5kbps...i used IDM internet download manager...it helped a bit (now around 8-12kbps)...is it possible to improve more...??????? i would be glad even if u tell how much effective download speed u r getting ..

connection details:

set: Nokia 3110c
mode: nokia PC suite 7.0
APN: aircelgprs ( every thing else blank)
plan : 14rs/month
OS : Windows 7
browser : Firefox 3.6

Nokia 3110c ur mobile can be a problem..

with a edge enabled mobile u can get better speed 20+

but Nokia 3110c is EDGE enabled.. and i am getting E symbol in my mobile which means i am in EDGE network... but still average download speed is around 6kbps.. that is in half an hour i can download 8MB using Orbit downloader...

please inform me of ur speed and tricks..
