Boot Problem

Hello,
i have been receiving the 'disc boot failure' message upon turning the computer on. suddenly, i am no longer getting that message just a beeping sound. (one long beep followed by two shorter beeps) and nothing else. no messages on my monitors. even when restarting with a boot disc in my drive. what's going on and how do i resolve this.

one long two short beeps is an indication of Video card failure.
