Facebook reactivated without my knowledge

Hello,
I received a "welcome back" email from facebook this morning and I deactivated my account months ago. I haven't shared my personal information such as password with anyone. I logged in and deactivated it once again. How could this have happened?

It might be that you deactivated it temporarily and this is why you are still getting such messages.
