Graphing Start and End Times

Hello,
I'm attempting to create a spreadsheet which will automatically fill colors when a production job starts and ends.

My spreadsheet is formated with times 23:00 until 07:00.

If a job starts at 23:00 and ends at 05:00, I need that entire time line filled/darkened

I am confused. If the sheet has time 2300 to 0700, what would indicate that job got done at 0500
