dont hve motherbord cd Closed

Hello,
           i have ibm system. i formatted my pc .after installing win xp service pack2. i am not able to hear any system sounds. i dont have mother board cd.. pls tell how to identify the type of motherboard and download drivers......

Download "PC Wizard" it's free and it should be able to ID the motherboard or the chipset. 

If it's a generic motherboard open up the case - the motherboard should have some ID printed on the top side.
