Mouse and keypad problem

Hello,
I have abandoned my Acer 5100 PC for a year simply because the mouse and the keyboard of the PC stopped working. The PC boots , all the icons on the desktop appear but the mouse and keyboard failed to work. I removed the battery, i pressed alt+f10. No solution. Please can someone help?

Have you tried to connect a USB mouse to your PC? If this work, then try to format the laptop.
