Vista 2 XP my Hard disk does not show

Hello,
I have bought Compaq Persaio C 700 C 702 TU model laptop. Now my system operating system is Windows Vista Home Premimum full verision. But i dont need Windows Vista, But when I want to try installed XP, my hard disk does not show, What can I do in thsi stitution. Windows XP does not have the required driver for the SATA controller in your laptop. You should Google "slipstream" and 'Nlite' the process used to modify the Windows CD. BUT, you will find the Compaq/HP does not support XP on this laptop and you will not find XP drivers for any of the hardware on the motherboard. I suggest you buy a copy of Windows 7 and install it.
