Extra RAM

Hello,
I purchased to 1 Gig Ram sticks from the same supplier, when I place them in my computer windows start and then will not go any further than the Windows XP logo. With just one in it starts and I get 1 gig of ram?
Is there something one has to do to add the extra 1 gig of RAM?

Hi there,

You need to put same frequency of ram present on the motherboard.You can use cpuz which will give you frequency and also the maximum of ram which is supported by your system.Download it here:
