Hello,
I'm building a computer, and I have never done it before. Seems though that i have alot of cords that dont have anywhere to plug into. Do i need to plug in all the cords to the motherboard and junk for it to work?
i.e. I have a cord that says VCC, TPA-, TPA+, and so on. Comming from the front of the tower.

You need to read both the MB manual and the computer case spec sheet to determine which connectors to use. VCC is present on the IrDA Infrared header and on some of the front panel audio headers. (Aud-VCC). If it's bundled with the Audio cables
TPA and TPB both - and + connect to the firewire headers on the motherboard. You don't need to connect the wires if you don't use/have Firewire on the MB.
Good Luck
