Power supply not compatible

Hi,
Got a new motherboard for my birthday and on this one I can see that for the psu I have only 20pins and this motherboard requires 24pins can anyone tell me if I plug the 20pins psu in the motherboard will it work perfectly?

Read the documentation that came with the MB. Yes, SOME MB's will work with 20 pins and others will not.
