Cannot watch movie

Hello,
A friend lend me a movie on dvd but whenever I will try to open the movie to watch it windows will give me a list of programs to watch the movie, I choose power dvd and all I can get is power dvd cant open the movie and that the format is not supported. Actually from what I can see is that the extension is .divx
Anyone can help me in resolving this issue please?

Sounds like the programme youre using doesnt support the codec.
therefore, download the media player from the link below and enjoy your movie.
