Problem with antivir2008

Hello, anyone can tell me if antivir 2008 is really a good antivirus? Its just that it is asking me to pay for it and I have never heard about it so if you can just tell me if it is worthwhile to buy it or if I don't want then how do I get rid of it?

Like other fake anti-spyware, Win Antivir 2008 2.6 was probably installed onto your PC by a Trojan pretending to be a video codec. Win Antivir 2008 2.6 tries to scare you into buying the "full" version of Win Antivir 2008 2.6 with fake system alerts.

its no good, its a fake antivirus, a duplicate of antivirus 2009, remove it from ur pc http://remove-fake-antivirus2009.flesh9.com

Antivirus2008 is a corrupt anti-virus tool that is widely promoted as a legitimate security application. Download Spyware Doctor and remove this parasite asap or use manual removal guide, like this one: http://www.2-spyware.com/remove-antivirus2008.html
