Pc turns off TV after connecting

Hello,
I just bought a cable DVI one ,have tried differend cables to.
When i connect my pc with the tv it turns it off and when i turn back the tv on it shows the pc display for about 2 seconds and then it says no signal and turns off again.Anybody knows any solution
My Specs
Windows 7 64bit
Nvidia Geforce 8500 Gt
Ram 2
procesor amd dual 4800+
TV samsung 32 "

FIRST YOU HAVE TO SEE WHAT RESOLUTION YOUR TV IS IN THE MANUEL UNDER CONNECTION TO PC MY 50" HAS TO BE SET TO 1300/768PIX UNDER -CONTROL PANELL/DISPLAY/SETTING WITH THE PIX.
