Msn not showing status as available.

Hello,
windows live messenger (msn) is not showing status as available. If I set it as Available it stays as Away, I CAN howerver set it to Busy and Appear Offline but trying to set is as Available causes it to change to Away. Why is this?

Try going to your options settings and on the Personal tab, un-tick the "Show me as away when inactive" option. Worked for me when I had this problem. Jon

Thank you so much. It's been bugging me for days. My computer was set to switch user after 60 minutes of nothing, so I think that was when it was, as msn was still open.
