Black Screen can't do anything

Hello,
All the answers about black screen assume you can see something to work with on screen.
I can hear booting and then stops but I can't see anything to find and click.
do I get something that will boot and bring up the screen?

You may have a problem with the "inverter" or "backlight" on your laptop. Neither of these items are fixable by software or in anyway a self-service hardware fix. You may need to return it to the manufacturer or a qualified service center.
