The resolution to this issue is to clear the temporary internet files which are been located in the following location
of for ex: C:\Documents and Settings\<NTUseraccount>\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files
and also make sure all the IE updates are properly installed on your machine.
Once the above steps are done. please give a reboot to the system
