Still ram problem

Hello,
Board says 8 gigs. Both sticks work in primary slot, but not secondary. Have reloaded drives for mother board and still only show 2 gigs. I also tried putting 1 stick in secondary and still only get 2 gigs. It's Like it just doesn't find the second 2 gigs.

Some times a motherboard will only work with memory that is certified for that hardware. Their way of saying that the MB is flakey. You might be able to update the BIOS (with one memory board in place) and that might work.
