Green Lines Closed

Question

Hiya, 
My problem is quite similar. When I'm on the computer, all of a sudden the screen gets so many green lines and the whole computer is frozen. I have to turn the computer off by the main power button. When I switch is back on, it just beeps and doesn't work. What seems to be the problem?

Please check whether the problem is coming the graphics card or its driver.
