operating system will not load? Closed

Question

Please help soon? 
 After 'destructive recovery', F8....'windows advanced options menu' after I select start windows normally,
 the "please select the operating system to start:" Windows(default) is the only option showing. when I click this option the computer restarts to non-disk error? I cannot load any cd's to run recovery it keeps putting this error up with the cursor flashing then you hit any key and the computer restarts.
This happens in any option I choose under F8, they all only have the Windows (default),
as my "only" choice.   Please help I am stuck here for three days!
p.s. I have the restore cds factory shipped and the windows recovery tools cd, but it won't load either ones? compaq presario fs7600.

If you have the windows cd, then try to reinstall it. I know how to, if your OS is XP but haven't tried vista nor Seven. Its so easy, just placed the cd in the tray, restart, but change your bios setting that it will first read in the optical drive and not in the hard drive.
