Office 2007 wont read in 2003

Hello,
I use the new microsoft office 2007 and unfortunately my old Word or Excel files cant be opened..
Tell me the reason plz ..thanx

Yeah the fact is that Office 2003 and 2007 dont share the same saving formats.. unfortunately! but u can open a 2003 file on 2007 but not invert

There is file with 2007, I cannot open it in 2003. can u help me?

when you save the 2007 file select the toolbar under the bar where you type the name for the document ( it says word document at first) and click
' word 97 - 2003 document ' you can then read a 2007 document on 2003 and vice versa

Hi Cam,
I am running Vista and windows office 2007 I still get e-mails run on 2003 and I can't open them
up can you surggest anything.
