CD/DVD device not working

TSST corp CD/DVDw TS-H652D ATA Device is not working!! I can open the CD tray, insert, close it & it doesn't read or detect the CD or DVD. Is it possible that there is a laser burned out or something??? If so... How do I fix it???

Hi there,

If the lens is damaged then you need to change the drive completely.Try changing the ide data cable.
