Photoshop C S 2 won't open my RAW images Closed

Question

my photoshop C S 2 won't open my RAW images from my new Canon camera.  I try and then get a message from photoshop  that says "....not the right kind of document".  What do i need to do ? Thanks, John

Configuration: Windows XP / Internet Explorer 8.0
