Problem with installing XP

Hello,
i dont know if im supposed to write this question in this forum or not but still......


i have got a problem with my pc for the first time while installing my win XP, the problem is that when ever i start downloading my OS after a few minutes it prompts me with an error(A file or a hardware device is missing) and i have the complete devices in my PC......could it b a problem with the hardware or any software.

i will thank ful to you if u kindly help me out with this .....

may b u r downloading incorrect XP ...coz this error shows it...i dont think thats ur hardware problem !!!

thanks sandeep but i have checked it from two different CDs both give me the same error :) but i like ur idea i gonna check once more....
