Windows XP security virus...what do i do?!?!

This Windows XP Internet security thing just popped up on my computer saying that I have like 30 something viruses and now my computer is not letting me open up anything at all, I can't even get to the internet to download the link that you have posted. I have a bussiness that I can't run right now because of this, freaking out!! What do i do?!?!!?!

Please don't freak out, patience is a vertu.

1. What link are you talking about?

2. Are you sure that this Trojan Horse called XP Security or does it have another name, the reason I am asking is that some Trojan must be administered with a different poison.

3. Can boot in safe mode (tapping F8) with networking. If you can, we are on our way to victory against the evil Trojan who is about to make you ripe for the Cookoo's Nest.
