My Ethernet port not workin

ok...so i was just playin my games one day. and when i got back on the computer and booted up from stand by i notice i had no internet. so i tryed a bunch of things and they didnt help. can someone tell me how to get it to work again. btw iam using my ps3 to write this on using the internet which should also be working on the computer.

Hi there,

Have you checked if the lan cable is well plugged from router/switch/modem to port on pc?IS the driver still present on system?What are the steps you tried to solve it?Please give more information.
