Wireless network adapter

My computer crashed so i reinstalled windows xp home edition with a Cd. However after reinstalling windows i tryed to use the wirless adaptor which i had used before but when i plug the adapter into the computer it does not recognise the wireless adapter. The wireless adapter that i am using is Belkin. What should i do??

I was thinking my be a driver need 2 be inable
