Scanner and WEBCAM are not Working together

Hello,
I am having a desktop pc with windows xp operating system and I have fixed both genius scanner colorpage- HR8 and creative webcam vista type . my problem is that they are not working smoothly in the same time when I connect them in the same time in the USBs . !!!!! inorder to have the scanner working I have to disconnect the WEBCAM from the USB otherwise the WEBCAM is working only .
please I need from my good friends urgent detailed instructions for this problem to have them working in the same time ? thanks .....yours ALI

hey there,

the problem may be from your usb drivers and i would recommend that you get the latest of drivers for your usb drivers from the manufacturer's web page and then have it installed on the pc

Yes it could be from the USB drivers but how can I reinstall them ? I need a specific solution !!!!!
