Hello DVD Driver problem

I have A DVD
but when i put a DVD movie doesnt work and says "insert disc"
some DVD programs palys it plz what shoulld i do
and il palys CD . is there a relate between copy and original

my laptop is HP DV4 and DVD is lightscribe

Dear Sir,

The problem might be coming from the fact that the CD is scratched or there is a corrupted file on it.
