HELP! How to retrieve my files?

Hello,
My problem is, during the file transfer, my hard drive suddenly exploded. So now I'm a bit worried whether the data in the hard drive can be saved or not. So I need help regarding the retrieval of the files in the hard drive because of the importance the files. Without those files and documents I won't be able to submit my work due this month. I hope somebody could help. THANKS.
