No desk top icon,

I can not get desk top icon on my HP pc, only background picture appears, no start menu and also I tried to right click on the screen but nothing came up, is there any way to fix this problem by using the safe mode, please advice,

Dear LS,

Please get to the desktop and right click getting to Arrange Icons by and from there select Show Desktop icons to get them back.
