Please help...i did a system restore /pc restore don't know which one...i had problems with windows vista.So i F8 and reloaded windows vista....i then restarted my laptop HP Pavillion DV6500.All my files has been lost and it is as tho nothing was ever saved on my laptop.I have tried starting it in safe mode but it goes directly to safe mode and not to where you have to select "Microsoft Windows Whistler"....Also when i reach the step of selecting the owner tab ...only my name appears there....must i select my name and then apply?Thanks Zaz
