Dell hdd 595b problem

Need an hdd pass for a locked dell drive with # XE508JXF170-595B. (for hdd, not bios)
hdd s/n: WD - WXE508JXF170.

I suspect the hdd is toast but would like to verify.

Until I unlock the hdd I can't test snot. You can't just move the drive to another system master or slave and can't put in external drive. ( the pass travels with it)

I cant even reformat drive, unless I unlock the drive I'm left with a paper weight. (reason I included s/n)

if you five me the hdd number that popps on screen during bootin, ill give it a try

# XE508JXF170-595B (already tried "skyzaz9p" and it didnt work) this is for hdd and not the bios.

and if you need it, hdd s/n: WD - WXE508JXF170.

might have to try few diff combinations, are tohse 0 (ohs) or 0 (zerose) in the 595B code?

They are zeroes (0). (numbers, #)

Sorry you did put it, here is what i managed to come up with for your hdd master code
:XE508JXF170-595B = skyzaz9p
