i just formatted my machine and re-installed win xp. The machine is compaq evo d51s. It shows a yellow question mark on ethernet controller. i have done a whole day of internet research and downloaded many drivers but none works. There is a network notification which says local area network cable unplugged (yet the same network cable works on the next PC) and where the LAN plugs in, both lights are red; one stays on and the other keeps flashing. Please advise where i can get drivers from or how i can solve this..
