Acer aspire one note book

i have just purchased an acer aspire one notebook with windows 7 and i ham having problems with the white screen which keeps coming on when i ham on the internet .and i ham having to go back on to windows ,then click on my aol icom to start browsing again
this is very anoying i have had vista loptop in the past with the same internet with no trouble at all (could there a fault with the note book itself ? ) please can you help mrs field
