Dell- Fan issues Closed

Question

I just got a dell and The fan does not stop and the computer does not recognize the screen. so it just turns on and all you hear is the fan. any ideas?

Configuration: Windows 7 / Firefox 3.6.3

what type of a Dell is it first such as Inspiron XPS or other and what tybe 1545 1525 or other. we need to know what dell it is before your question can be answered.
