some viruses might still be in you system even if u reinstall windows XP.
depends on the type of a virus you got. Download Malwarebytes from
https://ccm.net/downloads/security-and-maintenance/4621-malwarebytes-anti-malware/
update it be scaning the computer it may take up to 2 hours to scan or more then it will ask you remove the virus and then it will have to restart to remove the viruses from your computer..
If you want to run a Hijack This Scan from..... Trend Micro and post it here for some one to have a look at it for you to see if its system files or they are viruses i think Ambucias will help you with this one if he see's it.
