How do i set up internet on my secondhand lap

HELLLLP PLZ Just bought a secondhand laptop when i click on the internet tab to connect a box is popping up INTERNET PROPERTIES under that theres a few settings General,security,privacy,content,connections,programs,and advance. I dont no what im suppose to do to be able to browse the internet. My wireless connection is excellant and im also able to chat on MSN so what do i do to set up the internety to browse ect, Please can some1 help thank u
