Restoring factory settings

I was restoring my ipod to factory settings and everything was going wee.then when it ended it asked me to plug the ipod to the main electrical supply.and i did so ,nothing happened,now my ipod screen is only showing me that i have to plug it to the main electrical supply.And n ot it not even showing on the pc when i attach it to the usb.nothing happens

Dear Franz,

There should have been an error that occurred while you tried to restore it. I will hence advise you to get it restored for having it restored correctly.
