Why doesnt my wireless LED light come on Closed

Question

I bought this Gateway laptop about 7 months ago never had any problems with it until last night my wirelss LED does not light up even though the switch is on,...Can any one help me please this is the only way to use the net on my laptop.

view your network connections and see if the wireless card is enabled, if its not then right click it and select enable
